[Remote] Category Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Category Analyst to join their team. The role involves analyzing sales performance and providing insights to support National Account Managers and contribute to sales forecasting and inventory planning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales performance, pricing, and promotional data across key retail accounts
• Build and maintain retailer-specific reporting templates and dashboards
• Provide insights on trends, account performance, and opportunities for growth
• Support National Account Managers with data needed for retailer meetings and strategy
• Assist in tracking distribution, velocity, and promotional effectiveness across accounts
• Prepare materials for retailer reviews, including reporting packs and summaries
• Contribute to sales forecasting and inventory planning through data analysis
• Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities reputed company to product performance and supply
• Help inform pricing, trade spend, and category strategies
• Standardize data processes and reporting structures across accounts
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in data used for internal and external reporting
• Work reputed company reputed company reputed company-based environments (no advanced systems required)
• Partner with sales, operations, and leadership to align on reporting needs
• Support reputed company analysis tied to new product launches, expansion, and retailer requests

Skills

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, sales analytics, or category analysis
• Strong proficiency in reputed company reputed company (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
• Experience supporting retail-facing teams or accounts
• Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Experience in CPG, food and beverage, or retail analytics
• Exposure to grocery/mass retail environments (e.g., reputed company, Kroger, Whole Foods, H-E-B)
• Experience working in a startup or lean team environment
