Your primary responsibility is to synthesize large data sets, develop predictive models, and craft compelling visual narratives that guide senior leadership through complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross‑Team Collaboration: Partner with Network Planning leaders and business partners to align on multiple initiatives, ensuring data consistency and strategic coherence across the organization.
  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Analyze flight schedules, historical profitability, and performance metrics using SQL, Microsoft Access, Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Advanced Data Synthesis: Combine disparate data sources into unified datasets, applying statistical techniques and data‑cleaning best practices to guarantee accuracy.
  • Strategic Presentation Development: Build high‑impact slide decks and interactive dashboards that translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior executives.
  • Scenario Modeling: Contribute to the continuous improvement of network designs, connectivity models, and scheduling strategies, supporting fleet planning, crew staffing, and operational feasibility studies.
  • Business Impact Communication: Articulate the broader business implications of analytical results, tailoring messaging to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Project Ownership: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Ad‑hoc Support: Provide additional analytical assistance as directed by leadership, adapting quickly to evolving business needs.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 2‑4 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the aviation, transportation, or logistics sectors.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and VBA scripting.
  • Hands‑on experience with data visualization tools—Tableau, Power BI, or similar—and familiarity with Alteryx or equivalent workflow automation platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate raw data into clear, concise business narratives for senior leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for storytelling through data.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or advanced certifications in Data Science, Business Intelligence, or Operations Research.
  • Experience with airline scheduling software (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, or similar) or familiarity with airline network planning concepts.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, or machine learning techniques.
  • Prior exposure to project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Kanban).
  • Ability to work across time zones and coordinate with global teams.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex problems, identify root causes, and propose data‑driven solutions.
  • Technical Acumen: Mastery of SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx, with a willingness to learn emerging tools.
  • Business Insight: Understanding of airline economics, revenue management, and operational constraints.
  • Communication Excellence: Clear articulation of findings, both in writing and verbally, tailored to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Proven track record of building relationships, negotiating priorities, and influencing decisions without direct authority.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with ambiguity, rapid change, and evolving business priorities.
