B2B Sales Development Representative

Job Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity to own the complete sales cycle from initial reputed company through deal closure while building meaningful relationships with Calgary business owners. You’ll be working with warm leads generated through targeted direct mail campaigns, focusing on relationship development rather than cold calling. This role combines the strategic thinking of business development with the execution skills of sales closing, offering significant autonomy and direct impact on company growth. You’ll have the chance to provide strategic input on business development approaches while working with diverse local businesses in a proven, profitable market. The position offers excellent growth potential with opportunities to expand into customer service, trade shows, and business mixer coordination as the company continues to evolve.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategic follow-up phone calls to business owners who have received direct mail letters from company leadership
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with prospects through regular touchpoints and consultative conversations
  • Generate reputed company appointments through relationship-based reputed company rather than high-volume cold calling
  • reputed company sales deals through professional reputed company presentations, typically requiring 1-2 meetings per prospect
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through contract signing and reputed company

  • Cycle back through prospect database regularly to maintain ongoing relationships and identify new opportunities

  • Take initiative in developing innovative approaches for prospect engagement and relationship building

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven sales development or B2B sales experience with demonstrated closing ability
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with business owners and decision makers
  • Experience managing both appointment setting and sales closing responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while taking strategic initiative
  • Comfortable with phone-based reputed company and professional reputed company meeting presentations
  • Understanding of longer sales cycles and relationship-based selling methodologies
  • Professional maturity and personality to deliver exceptional customer experiences
