Senior Systems Engineer - Financial Management Application

Job Description

We're seeking an reputed company Senior Systems Engineer to support a reputed company, mission-critical financial management application. As a key member of reputed company, you will apply advanced technical and business principles to analyze, design, integrate, and implement high-level system components. Your expertise will ensure the secure, high-performance operation of our financial systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive reliability, scalability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze, design, integrate, test, and implement reputed company system components, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, incident response, and production support for a large-scale financial management system, leveraging your expertise in PL/SQL, reputed company Database, and UNIX reputed company scripting.
  • Direct and participate in reputed company phases of the software system lifecycle, including planning, evaluation, integration, and acceptance testing, to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
  • Apply expert-level technical skills to manage and optimize application performance, utilizing version control tools and adhering to established development and reputed company protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and compliance, fostering a culture of innovation and reputed company improvement.
  • Maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and utilize version control software to manage and track software changes.
Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, with at least 3 years of recent hands-on experience in PL/SQL, reputed company Database 19c or higher, SQL, and UNIX reputed company scripting.
  • Intermediate proficiency with TOAD for reputed company and experience with version control software (e.g., Git, Subversion).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Active IAT Level II certification (e.g., reputed company+ CE, CCNA reputed company, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or equivalent) in compliance with DoD 8570.01-M requirements.
Preferred Skills
  • Functional knowledge of Treasury Cash Accountability processes and advanced use of TOAD for reputed company.
  • Experience with software quality assurance (SQA) testing and tools like reputed company Quality Center.
  • Familiarity with Java technologies (Java Beans, OC4J, JDBC) and basic web development skills (HTML, JavaScript).
  • Experience using Subversion for version control and reputed company for reputed company configuration and incident management.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently, with strong customer and vendor relationship skills.
