Manager SEC Reporting

Position Purpose: This role provides key leadership reputed company the SEC Reporting function and is responsible for supporting the Chief reputed company Officer’s external reporting strategy. This role manages the planning, development and filing of periodic reports with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, including the quality and timely delivery of the quarterly 10-Q’s and annual 10-K (as well as 8-K, 1933 Act registration statements, and other required reporting), as well as collaboration with Investor Relations during their development of earnings materials (earnings release and earnings script). • SEC Reporting (Annual Report, 10-K, 10-Q, Registration Statements)

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

• Typically reports to Director of Financial Reporting, Assistant Controller
• Accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of others. In addition to personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.

Travel Requirements:

• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Financial Reporting with a large public company
• Experience with multi-division, multi-national companies.
• Big 4 Public reputed company Experience Required. Strong written and oral communication skills are required.

Minimum Education:

• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study reputed company to the job.

Minimum Years of Work Experience:

• 6

Certifications:

• CPA required

Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP reputed company with CPA designation preferred
• Robust SEC reporting experience with a global, public company, including proven subject matter expertise (SEC Rules and Regulations including S-X, S-K, 10-Q/10-K and 8-K rules, business combination, pro-reputed company, and US GAAP Disclosure rules)
• Strong public reputed company/Big 4 and industry background (retail preferred)
• Detail oriented, well-organized with ability to prioritize and problem solve, multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines

• Strong and proven leadership/mentorship skills and development of associates
