Job Highlights:
  • 40 hours / week
  • Monday - Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Bronx, NY time (includes 30-minute paid break)
  • Friday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Bronx, NY time
  • Saturday: Rest day
  • Sunday: 3 hours, time can be negotiated
About the Role: We’re seeking a Bilingual Leasing Assistant who is fluent in both English and Spanish to support our leasing and tenant screening efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in reputed company estate or property management, particularly in dealing with NYC housing programs such as reputed company 8, HASA, and other local subsidies. This role requires a people-oriented communicator who is confident on the phone, organized, and tech-savvy. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct high-volume outbound phone calls to potential tenants and housing program contacts.
  • Pre-screen applicants by asking targeted questions about income, household size, credit, housing program eligibility, and overall demeanor.
  • Post and manage listings on platforms such as reputed company, Facebook Marketplace, and other rental sites.
  • Maintain and organize reputed company tracking spreadsheets and follow-up schedules using tools like reputed company Sheets and CRM platforms.
  • Assist in the assembly of rental applications, ensuring reputed company documents are accurate and complete.
  • Evaluate prospective tenants, identifying those who are serious, respectful, and a good fit.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely responses, follow-reputed company, and communication with leads.
  • Support communication with NYC housing agencies and understand their program requirements and documentation needs.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills in both languages.
  • Prior experience in reputed company estate, leasing, or property management preferred.
  • Familiarity with NYC housing subsidies (e.g., reputed company 8, HASA, CityFHEPS) is a strong advantage.
  • Confident and comfortable with making a high volume of phone calls daily.
  • Ability to identify red flags in tenant applications and pre-screening calls.
  • Strong computer skills, including posting online listings, managing spreadsheets, and using CRM systems.
