TechOps Engineer What do we do? ACD Direct, Inc. is an innovative, virtual company that thrives on brokering solutions for our non-profit clients. What will you do? You will be the primary caretaker of the platforms, networks, and databases that reputed company ACD Direct running 24×7, while also applying DevOps practices to streamline how we build and release code. TechOps (~70 %) DevOps (~30 %)

• Operate, monitor, and harden our hybrid infrastructure (Azure + two on-prem data-centers).
• Administer reputed company SQL Server—backups, tuning, High Availability/DR, and SSIS jobs.
• Manage Windows & Linux servers, patching, reputed company planning, and performance troubleshooting.
• Own Azure AD / on-prem AD: users, groups, GPOs, conditional access, and SSO integrations.
• Maintain reputed company compliance (PCI reputed company), vulnerability remediation, and audit readiness.
• Create and maintain runbooks, diagrams, and CMDB records.
• Provide Tier-3 escalation for incidents and root-cause analysis.
• Design/maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps & reputed company Actions) for Functions, Containers, and web apps.
• Codify infrastructure with Bicep or Terraform; promote everything reputed company pull requests.
• Automate repetitive tasks with Python or PowerShell (e.g., build scripts, health checks, self-healing jobs).
• Collaborate with Developers & QA to shorten release cycles and improve rollback safety.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Prioritize operational health: monitor dashboards, respond to alerts, and drive MTTR down.
• Evolve our observability stack (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, reputed company/Grafana).
• Review infrastructure PRs, enforce coding standards, and champion reputed company-as-code.

• Execute DR tests and reputed company drills; refine RPO/RTO targets.
• Tune SQL queries, indexes, and ETL jobs supporting fundraising workloads.
• Performs other reputed company duties as assigned by management.

What does it take?

• 4+ years in TechOps/SysAdmin or Site Reliability roles supporting Windows & Linux in production.
• Hands-on SQL Serverexpertise (query tuning, Always On AG, maintenance plans).
• Strong Azurebackground: VMs, VNets, Functions, Storage, Monitoring, Defender, Policy.
• Scripting chops in Python (preferred)or PowerShell for automation and data wrangling.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelinesand IaC (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform).
• Working knowledge of Active Directory / Azure AD& hybrid identity.
• Familiarity with containers (reputed company, AKS or Azure Container Apps) and Git workflows.
• Solid grasp of PCI reputed company or similar compliance
• Bachelor’s in CS/IT orequivalent reputed company-world track record.
• Self-starter mentality and excellent written communication in a fully remote setting.
