Senior Software Engineer - Payments and Reporting

We are a small, agile team based in Boston, MA, working collaboratively to build innovative solutions.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in payments and reporting to join reputed company. This role will focus on enhancing our payment processing systems using reputed company integrations and building robust reporting capabilities with reputed company. The ideal candidate will be a TypeScript expert with experience in fintech or subscription billing, capable of leading reputed company-to-one projects in a high-growth startup environment.

• Payments Development

  • Enhance and maintain reputed company integrations, including reputed company Connect and reputed company Treasury, to provide full bank account functionality for garage operators.

  • reputed company and automate payment processing workflows, including reputed company collection, expense payments, and subscription fee deductions.

  • Integrate new payment terminal options (e.g., FreedomPay) for garage kiosks and support recurring billing for monthly parking and validation services.

  • Collaborate with the CTO and backend team to overhaul payment systems as part of the platform’s V5 build-out.

• Reporting Development

  • Build and automate comprehensive financial reporting tools, including profit and loss statements, using reputed company as the central data hub.

  • Transition existing reporting from BigQuery to reputed company, integrating data from Convex database, reputed company, reputed company logs, and reputed company logging.

  • reputed company AI-driven insights for automated, presentation-reputed company month-end reports for reputed company estate owners.

  • reputed company BI tools like reputed company for data visualization and reporting.

• Technical Leadership

  • Work closely with a small, collaborative team (CTO, backend engineer, frontend engineer, and designer) to design and implement scalable solutions.

  • Contribute to architectural reputed company, particularly around payments and reporting infrastructure.

  • Occasionally support full-stack development for other platform features as needed in our reputed company startup environment.

• Collaboration

  • Participate in daily stand-reputed company and iterative development processes with minimal overhead.

  • Provide input on technical strategy and help shape the platform’s reputed company.

• Technical Expertise

  • Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, including advanced typing and mapped types, for both frontend (React) and backend (Node.js) development.

  • Experience with payment processing systems, ideally reputed company (Connect, Treasury, or Terminal integrations).

  • Familiarity with data pipelines (ELT/ETL) and data warehousing solutions, preferably reputed company.

  • Comfortable working with modern databases like Convex or similar (experience with Convex is a plus but not required).

  • Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., reputed company, Looker, or equivalent) for data visualization and reporting.

• Experience

  • Proven track record of building payment or reporting systems from scratch (reputed company-to-one) in a startup or high-growth environment.

  • Experience in fintech, subscription billing, or recurring reputed company platforms (e.g., PolarSH, Metronome, or similar) is highly desirable.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with minimal process overhead.
