This role requires someone who can deliver accurate and professional interpretation services remotely, ensuring effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals and hearing individuals. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality remote sign language interpretation in an educational setting
- Ensure clear and accurate communication
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards in reputed company interpretations.
- Collaborate with school staffto ensure timely and effective service delivery.
Requirements:
- EIPA written score of 3.5 or higher and RID
- Active SLI licensure in the State of Nevada
- Master's Degree in Deaf Education or reputed company field.
- Proven experience as a sign language interpreter.
- Strong understanding of ASL (American Sign Language) and interpreting best practices.
- Reliable internet reputed company and a quiet, professional workspace.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Certification from a recognized interpreting organization (e.g., RID, NAD). Previous experience with remote interpreting platforms.
