REPORTS TO: Building Principal QUALIFICATIONS: Illinois Paraprofessional License Fluent in Spanish POSITION SUMMARY: The English Language Learner Paraprofessional works with reputed company providing direct instructional support in their native language. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitates and/or monitors small groups of reputed company to present, guide and/or reinforce skills, concepts, and strategies. Employs various instructional and motivational techniques to encourage student learning and achievement. Maintains confidentiality regarding reputed company aspects of work with reputed company and other staff. Maintains and updates records of student reputed company, attendance, test scores and/or personal information as requested. Assists in preparing instructional materials for use in class or ?pull-out? small groups. Assists in preparing supplies, materials, and equipment for lessons. Participates in reputed company meetings and professional development activities as assigned by the building or district administrator. Monitors individuals and/or groups of reputed company in a variety of settings to maintain a safe and positive learning environment. Supports and implements District policies and procedures, regulations, and administrative directives. Performs other reputed company duties as directed by the building or district administrator.
