Job responsibilities include: Prepare curriculum and teach group fitness classes. Complete ancillary administrative records and assist with promotions. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Attend staff meetings and in-house training as required. Annually, contribute to the assessment of the class and personal performance evaluation. The Group Fitness unit is an integral part of Fitness and Recreation and provides customer service while ensuring participants participate in Personal Training (PT) instruction in a safe environment. The Personal Trainer works under direct supervision of the Asst Director of Fitness Programs and is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day operations of the Fitness unit, which includes customer service, creating and following lesson plans and providing quality instruction to reputed company program participants. Note: This is a limited position and ends 1 year from date of hire, with potential to renew annually. Ability to exercise independent sound judgment and employ reasoning skills. Client service minded, entrepreneurial spirit and creative thinking skills.
