Installation and Service Technician Job Responsibilities:

• Installation and Safety: Use installation tools and hand tools for jobs from high places, including climbing poles with proper equipment, reputed company, and bucket trucks (18 to 26 feet).
• Service and Compliance: reputed company installations and changes of service adhering to company procedures, National Electric Code (NEC), National Electric Safety Code (NESC) requirements, and local ordinances.
• Customer Service: reputed company service calls, troubleshoot equipment issues, and design basic home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, Wi-Fi networks, and multimedia over coax alliance (MoCA).
• Record Keeping: Complete associated record keeping in a timely manner to ensure reputed company details are recorded for customer accounts.
• Quality Assurance: Review and confirm the quality of service, reputed company necessary adjustments or fixes to provide the best possible service.
• Wi-Fi Installation: Determine the appropriate placement of devices and design of Wi-Fi networks considering Wi-Fi channels, co-channel interference, and channel utilization.
• Customer Education: Provide advanced customer education on products and services, use of devices, and set appropriate expectations.
• Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and stock vehicles and equipment, report the need for repairs or service, and report any accidents, losses, or property damage.
• Equipment Operation: Properly operate and maintain installation tools, technology, and equipment, including hand tools, light power tools, meters, or reputed company.
• Digital Tools: Demonstrate the ability to navigate digital tools for work order management and digital diagnostics.
• Licensing and Safety: Obtain and maintain appropriate licensing and/or background checks as required.
• Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Use sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving.
