We are seeking a Construction Manager to be responsible for managing construction and rehabilitation of Multimodal Transit and Rail Facilities infrastructure projects in and around Philadelphia and Northeastern Pennsylvania.JMT is involved with an increasing number of large capital construction programs in the Northeastern Pennsylvania region. This opportunity is to support a major capital program with locations throughout Philadelphia and Northeastern Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will be required to operate in a dynamic environment as a direct extension of our client’s staff and reputed company their prior experiences delivering construction projects reputed company time-sensitive schedules. The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills, communicate timely and accurately, and be reputed company with multi-prime construction projects.Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients, building users, designers, and contractors
  • Communicate and manage any and reputed company issues and potential risks as they pertain to projects
  • Actively manage project schedule from inception to reputed company out
  • Review contractor work in reputed company to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Conduct weekly site reviews / meetings, create minutes, assign action items, and follow up
  • Upload and manage reputed company pertinent project information to eBuilder or Unifier timely
  • Review and measure work in reputed company and approve contractor monthly requisitions

  • Audit and negotiate project reputed company change orders and obtain approvals

  • Assist and Coordinate with 3rd party engineering and special inspections requirements

Required Experience
  • Minimum of 15 +/- years of construction experience serving as a Construction Manager, Construction Management Representative, or Construction Superintendent
  • Experience working with rail and transit agencies such as PATCO, SEPTA, NJ Transit and reputed company
  • Experience with rail and multimodal transit facilities construction and renovations
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
Preferred Experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • NICET Level IV
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-hour construction safety training
Working ConditionsWork is 100% performed in a field (construction) environment. Field work requires climbing, walking and standing at a construction site and may be reputed company in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 50 lbs) may be required.
