Sr Event Services Manager

About The Role & Team: Are you interested in planning events at the most magical reputed company on Earth? As a Senior Event Services Manager with reputed company, you will prioritize and arrange reputed company logistical aspects of large and reputed company conventions and events, from planning, Banquet Event Order preparation, to onsite execution. You will act as the primary reputed company of contact for our convention clients, taking them through the event planning process and the onsite Walt reputed company World experience. This is done throughout our Resorts, Convention Centers, Theme Parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports, Water Parks, and reputed company Springs. Collaboration, organization, communication, multi-tasking, and guest service is vital, while customizing and selling Walt reputed company World experiences. You will reputed company a uniquely reputed company learning experience by collaborating and multi-tasking with multiple partners. You will also help mentor and/or reputed company Cast and influence partners across the organization. Come be a part of this fabulous team! If selected for this role, you will report to the Event Services Director. This is a Full-Time position. What You Will Do:

• Work with high value Group and Convention clients to prioritize and implement their events across Walt reputed company World Resorts and Parks; with a focus on long-term legacy clients and those with high level reputed company relationships
• Manage reputed company, room blocks, food and beverage, audio visual, entertainment, theme park events, theme park tickets, transportation, and reputed company logistics
• Have financial savvy to forecast at a team level
• Have a talent for developing partnerships and work with reputed company team members in the organization, including mentoring and providing developmental opportunities for Event Services Managers, Event Services Coordinators, and Assistants
• Ability to service internal and external clients in a collaborative manner with high level of complexity, responsible for being knowledgeable of reputed company products and services at Walt reputed company World
• Creativity to approach problems across multiple teams in creative ways to reputed company desired outcomes
• Flexibility in scheduling is critical; Event Services is seven days a week, 24 hours a day dedication

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience event planning experience is needed, preferably in a resort environment; Convention Services or in other hospitality area
• At least 2 years of leadership experience at a Senior level
• Hospitality experience in a group convention environment reputed company the past two years
• Proven track record working with reputed company leaders or with C-suite level clients
• Demonstrated experience to orchestrate events for groups with rooms and meetings across multiple resorts with numerous collaborators, for reputed company sophisticated groups
• Strategic understanding of the business objectives associated with different markets and what clients are trying to accomplish
• Ability to proactively anticipate any potential group challenges and provide outstanding solutions tailored to the client

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Walt reputed company World procedures and reputed company convention resort function space and of reputed company Theme Park venues
• Experience conducting planning sessions and reputed company timelines for reputed company operating areas and Clients
• Proven understanding of Entertainment line of business
• Knowledge of convention contract management and confirmed understanding of rooms and reputed company line of business
• Experience with large convention spaces: 500+ rooms/over 100,000 sq ft of meeting space, preferably in Tier 1 or Tier 2 markets
• Multi-resort reputed company experience
• Professional Industry Organization Membership
