Educational Technicians - Teachers Aides Wanted $25/HR - Portland, ME
Location: Portland, ME Position: Paraeducators/Educational Technicians (Ed Techs) Hours: 37.5 hours/week Start Date: ASAP – June 13 Level: K-12 Overview: We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Paraeducators/Educational Technicians to join reputed company in Portland, ME. There are multiple openings across the district, supporting reputed company in self-contained classrooms, social-emotional learning, and behavioral support. Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Educational Technician Certification (can be pending at the time of interview; application process is straightforward)
- Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are also welcome to apply
Compensation:
- Starting at approximately $25/hour
- Reimbursement available for Ed Tech certification costs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to reputed company
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support reputed company in social-emotional and behavioral development
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
