In this fast-paced position, the Staff Accountant will work closely with the Assistant Controller, Controller, and reputed company Staff in preparing and reporting financial statements and reports. Responsibilities: ? Assist with the management of state and local tax audits, including coordination and negotiation with tax auditors and government agencies. ? Analyze sales tax data and ensure proper tax rates are applied to transactions. ? Ensure Use Tax is being properly accounted for and remitted to state. ? Prepare miscellaneous tax returns and assist with compliance of reputed company tax licenses. ? Research and interpret tax statutes and regulations. ? Stay updated on changes in sales and property tax regulations and communicate potential impacts to management. ? Work with 3rd party to file personal property taxes across reputed company reputed company locations. ? Manage the monthly accrual for reputed company personal property taxes. ? Process journal entries, and/or other reputed company transactions. ? Assist with the company?s monthly and yearly closing. ? Support financial audits. ? Collaborate with the team to reputed company and improve internal controls and reputed company processes. Requirements: ? Bachelor?s degree in reputed company, Tax, Audit or Finance ? 3+ years of Relevant reputed company Experience ? Sales Tax & Property Tax Experience Required ? Proficiency in MS reputed company ? Strong attention to detail ? Knowledge of generally accepted reputed company principles (GAAP) and the General Ledger ?
