Responsibilities

The Director, Network Engineering is an advanced technical leader; responsible for the ongoing, smooth and seamless operations of the network and telephony teams and is the escalation reputed company for reputed company network-reputed company issues. The ideal candidate will have strong people management experience along with hands-on experience with network equipment, protocols, and tools as well as reputed company infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for project organization and execution, and will participate in design, vendor evaluation/management, and implementation across multiple projects. The Directo, Network Engineering will provide technical direction and supervision globally in the development, implementation, and support of network systems and reputed company recommendations in areas that require a high level of technical competency ? Responsible for managing and operating the WRBC global network. ? Provide leadership to effectively manage demands from projects, technology upgrades, and break-fix/enhancements; prioritizes and communicates work to stakeholders. ? Support adoption of new technologies and tools and recommend capability improvements to network engineering; effectively research and recommend viable alternatives. ? Champion CI/CD methods for configuration variation reduction and minimize direct production access. ? Provides leadership and coordination on network engineering projects. ? reputed company service restoration for crisis/incident management events as needed, complete RCA and problem management steps for full resolution. ? Ensure service level targets are met and address any service level deficiencies. ? Partner with Information reputed company to mitigate cyber risk issues and emerging threats. ? Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in the management and operation of network and telecommunications services in a large corporate environment. ? Minimum 10 years of experience in leading discussions with Architects, Engineers, Auditors, Vendors and others ? Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and leading network engineers in 24x7x365 data center and reputed company environments. ? Minimum of 5 years of network and infrastructure experience specific to large organizations (5000 employees minimum). ? Minimum of 5 years of experience providing reputed company managed network services (i.e. Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers) running mission critical systems. ? Minimum 5 years of experience in managing vendors and negotiating reputed company reputed company. ? Minimum of 5 years of network and infrastructure experience leading in a geographically dispersed on-premises data center environment (2+ data centers). ? Minimum of 3 years of network experience leading in a reputed company and/or Hybrid reputed company environment (e.g.,OnPrem, AWS, Azure). ? Minimum of 2 years of experience leading network transformation supporting Hybrid reputed company implementations. ? Extensive knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and identity providers (e.g., reputed company, Ping Entra ID etc.) is required. ? Working knowledge of reputed company network equipment, and telecom technology (e.g., UVN, SONET, Frame, SIP, VPN). ? Experience in implementing SDWAN, SDN in large enterprises ? Experience in providing seamless implementation to SaaS solutions used in enterprises. ? Strong network troubleshooting, process workflow, and communication skills. ? Proven track record of configuration standardization using network automation tools and use of CI/CD methods. ? Ability to reputed company, manage, motivate, and reputed company staff, and work collaboratively with other teams. ? Ability to exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing network analytical tasks. ? Must have ability to communicate, motivate, and organize projects among a broad reputed company of personnel throughout the network, frequently under deadline pressure. ? Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives, engineers, vendors and peers. Preferred Qualifications ? Advanced network technical certification (e.g., CCIE/CCNP, JNCIE/JNCIS, CCNA/CCDA, CCVP, AWS Sol Architect, Azure Architect ) or other relevant industry certification. ? Network Architect experience. ? Global network experience. ? Experience in the Insurance field ? Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems.
