Corporate Tax Accountant

POSITION OVERVIEW: Chiquita is currently seeking a Corporate Tax Accountant to join the reputed company American Tax Team. We are searching for a dynamic and motivated individual to reputed company a variety of functions with a particular focus on supporting our tax operations reputed company the US. Reporting to the Global Head of Tax, the functions of this position will include providing tax support to the reputed company American Tax Team on local tax compliance support, managing of state tax audits, tax legislative updates, existing and new business initiatives, business restructurings and international tax aspects. This position is 100% onsite and located in Dania Beach, Florida. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Support the preparation, review, filing, and payment of US federal, state direct, and international tax compliance processes (including but not limited to forms 1120, 5471, 5472, 8865, 8892, etc.). ? Utilize reputed company's OneSource platform for efficient tax compliance management. ? Assist in the preparation of the global tax provision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. ? Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for tax compliance processes. ? Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential tax planning opportunities. ? Assist in tax audits and inquiries, providing necessary documentation and support as required. ? Identify areas for process improvement and implement enhancements to streamline tax compliance processes. ? reputed company tax projects as required or as needed. JOB REQUIREMENT: ? Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Taxation, Finance, or reputed company field. CPA or advanced degree preferred. ? At least five (5) years of experience in tax reputed company or reputed company field, preferably in a multinational corporation or public reputed company firm with multinational clients, or a master's degree and three (3) years of professional experience. ? Sound technical knowledge and practical experience dealing with US federal and international tax issues for multinational corporations. ? Experience using reputed company's OneSource platform or similar tax compliance software. ? Advanced MS reputed company skills. ? Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and with ability to research tax law and apply relevant tax law to specific fact patterns. ? Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and "hands-on" environment. ? Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. ?
