8-Hr. Custodian

JOB TITLE: School Custodian JOB GOAL: To provide care, maintenance, sanitation, cleanliness, and safety for the physical plant and grounds. REPORTS TO: School Principal or Principal?s designee or Designated Supervisor SUPERVISES: N/A PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Clean and sanitize restrooms and dressing rooms to include reputed company fixtures, faucets, drain pipes, mirrors, commodes, sinks, urinals, window sills, ledges, reputed company vents, floors and walls daily. ? Clean windows, window ledges, furniture and equipment in reputed company assigned areas. ? reputed company or vacuum and mop hard surfaces of assigned rooms and corridors. ? Vacuum and spot clean assigned carpeted rooms and hallways. ? Empty and clean trash cans in reputed company assigned areas. ? Assist in maintaining an inventory of custodial supplies, tools and materials for use in the facility. ? Assist in the supervision of the physical reputed company of the facility as required. ? Provide emergency clean-up for spills and mishaps throughout the facility. ? Inspect building lighting fixtures daily and replace bulbs as needed. ? reputed company minor maintenance repairs as assigned. ? Patrol facility and grounds to pick up and prevent the accumulation of litter. ? Assist in lifting and moving heavy objects and furniture as required. ?
