Field Service Engineer I-DCS (90% travel)

Innovate to solve the world's most important challenges As a Field Service Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will perform maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of complex/advanced Honeywell control systems (EXPERION PKS, TPS/TDC3000). Your time will be spent validating customer requests, developing/maintaining/improving customer relationships, upgrades/migration planning and execution, all while ensuring Right and Fast Delivery. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager. • Must reside in VA, TN or NC. Key Responsibilities • Periodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative issues • Provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as a customer contact for service-related issues / enquiries • Configure, maintain, and solve Honeywell hardware / software issues including: Experion PKS, other DCS hardware / software such as LCN & TPS • Upgrade Experion software from one software release to another software release on live control system without causing any interruption to customer’s industrial process • Migrate Legacy Honeywell control systems to Honeywell’s new technology offering • Understand customer key processes and economic drivers to translate those into business opportunities while providing timely research and recommendations • Assist Sales during sales pursuits and be the face of Honeywell to end-users • Learn the end-to-end product / solution development and delivery / execution of Honeywell products and solutions • Use technical expertise of sophisticated Honeywell solutions / product offerings to improve customer experience • Due to the nature of this role, will be required to work off-hours, on weekends, and/or holidays, on occasion • Company vehicle will be provided to travel to customer sites • Travel: up to 90% to customer sites - This position will support clients in VA, TN, NC • Must Successfully Complete 18-month Honeywell Training & Certification Program. Note: Training/Testing is via online.

YOU MUST HAVE • 4 years of professional experience in a related field (field service, technical operations, industrial maintenance, process automation, heavy manufacturing, prior military experience, development and/or reliability engineering, etc.) • High School Diploma or GED • Ability to obtain multiple L3 certifications within 18 months. Training/Testing is via online.
