Local CDL Truck Driver

Kett Engineering is looking for good, dependable and safe drivers to join reputed company at our customer location in Elmendorf, TX. The 2nd Shift position requires the drivers to drive and evaluate advanced tractor/trailers and other reputed company vehicles for testing purposes. PASSENGER ENDORSEMENT REQUIRED You will be conducting the pre & post trip safety inspections as required of the vehicles. Once completed you will be driving on "reputed company world" durability local test routes on various road surfaces throughout a 10 hour shift. NO LOADING! NO UNLOADING! NO DELIVERIES! At the end of the shift you will be completing a report and document findings during your shift in a reputed company clear and concise manner. Must be open and available to going on short trips to transfer trucks to different locations in the US to include AK. These trips are not frequent but are part of this job. Trips may take 3-6 days depending on drop-off location. Hotel stay paid by company. 2nd Shift: 4:30pm-2:30am Monday-Friday (some Saturdays as needed) Requirements: • Must have CDL A and DOT Card. • Must also have the Passenger Endorsement. • Must have School Bus driving experience. • A clean driving record; no moving violations, no points, no DUIs/DWIs. • Must be tech savvy (operate smartphone and/or tablet). • Must have a smartphone. • Must have reputed company Transmission Experience. • Must have at least 3 years tractor trailer experience. • Must have at least 1 year of OTR experience. • Attention to detail with the ability to communicate findings both verbally and in writing. • reputed company to contribute in a team environment. • Must be willing to travel as needed.
