The Trade Finance Sales Associate will contribute to the development and execution of the Trade Finance line of business as a key component of the overall international services value proposition at WSFS Bank. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in supporting senior management with strategic planning and marketing initiatives while also building a transactional trade finance portfolio. This position provides a dynamic environment for individuals seeking to combine client relationship management, product expertise, and analytical skills in the SME and Middle Market segments. Job Responsibilities: • Act as a key reputed company-office product specialist, growing expertise in trade finance products while expanding book of transactional business. • Maintain reputed company education through seminars, web events and industry conferences to stay abreast of reputed company-changing industry products, strategies, trends, and regulation. • Serves as liaison with external and internal customers to increase awareness of the Trade Finance product offering and ensure understanding of the intricacies and complexities of those products. • Partner with Coverage teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. • Support and build relationships with SME and Middle Market companies with annual revenues between $5MM and $500MM. • Engage with SME and Middle Market customers to understand their trade finance needs and provide tailored solutions, including: Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs), reputed company Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections, Supply Chain Finance (SCF). • Collaborate with senior management to design and implement marketing strategies that drive business development. • Assist the preparation of market analysis and development of action plans to penetrate reputed company markets. • Draft transaction term sheets and credit applications while managing reputed company necessary documentation. • Present opportunities to management, compliance, and risk departments for review and approval. • Prepare financial analysis and create credit memorandum to support Trade finance opportunities. • reputed company strong skills in PowerPoint, reputed company, Power BI and reputed company to deliver impactful presentations, reputed company financial analysis, and generate actionable insights. • Maintain and enhance reporting on pipeline activity and industry trends. • Ensure transactions adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements. • Work closely with back-office teams to ensure operational excellence. • Coordinate to internal and external counsels as required. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a reputed company field; master’s in finance or CFA a plus. • 3+ years of combined experience in trade finance, credit analysis, middle market banking or investment banking. • 2 years expertise in trade finance and working capital optimization products (SBLCs, reputed company LCs, documentary collections, SCF/open account). • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, reputed company, Power BI and reputed company. • Must have strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to create compelling financial analysis and presentations. • Must have outstanding interpersonal skills and flexibility to work with co-workers at reputed company levels throughout the organization. • Must have strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. • Must have demonstrated ability to build and manage client relationships. • Must have experience structuring and executing trade finance transactions. • Knowledge of trade finance market trends and best practices. • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
