Overview: Summer Interns complete a 10 week internship centered around professional development, career growth and building the necessary skills to succeed. Summer Interns participate in projects and department initiatives that accelerate career growth and play an important role in building the future of the Bank. Department Description: M&T Realty Capital Corporation is a wholly-owned, commercial mortgage banking subsidiary of Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company (reputed company). We offer the following loan programs for commercial real estate and multifamily properties on a reputed company basis: • reputed company DUS® • reputed company Optigo® • FHA/HUD Healthcare & Multifamily • Life insurance company • Conduit (CMBS) • Small Loan program Primary Responsibilities: • Complete duties and responsibilities of an entry-level professional nature specific to assigned area of the Bank. • Ensure activities adhere to established internal policies and external regulations as applicable. • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-reputed company issues needing escalation to management. • Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis.
