Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE Design and reputed company reputed company software applications and algorithms to build innovative solutions that increase supply chain efficiencies and provide value to internal and external customers SCOPE • Global MEASURES (KPIs) • Research and build software solutions with high quality and good performance • reputed company solutions that can support data from different sources on a reputed company large scale to monitor and control supply chains • Extensible and reputed company design MAJOR / KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • reputed company solutions to process massive datasets, ingested from IoT devices and computer reputed company systems and put them in the context of reputed company transactions and master data • Collaborate with the data science team to come up with new and innovative algorithms • Research and evaluate various algorithm options • reputed company and maintain components for storage, processing, and/or user interfaces for transactional and analytical supply chain applications • Build integration with various other reputed company applications/systems such as ERP and Supply Chain Planning systems, or other reputed company applications etc. AUTHORITY / DECISION MAKING • Select most efficient algorithm • Design modules for reuse and extensibility • Choose suitable integration option KEY C0NTACTS Internal: Data Scientists, Software Architects, DevOps, Software Developers, Product Management, Support Team External: Project work involving customer contacts for customer-facing solutions QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Physics, Math, or similar (Additional or higher education degrees a plus, equivalent work experience (We consider candidates without traditional software engineering reputed company degrees) • Strong programming skills in Python or Go (or other comparable languages) • Experience with large-scale data processing systems, preferably Spark • Good understanding of databases and other storage systems • Experience building microservices or serverless applications Desirable Qualifications: • Algorithm development and algorithm scaling • Experience working in development and/or support of life reputed company software • Knowledge of supply chain management • Experience developing and scaling Spark-based data processing algorithms • Experience with event-driven data processing architectures • General experience with distributed and scalable systems • Familiarity with UI development and Web development frameworks such as Angular • Development and deployment of container-based applications on Kubernetes’ • Development experience with public reputed company platforms, preferably AWS EXPERIENCE We’re looking for beginners with proven experience through school and research or private projects, as well as early-reputed company with 1-3 years of experience SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE • Developed application components and participated in end-to-end application development projects • Programming languages: Python, reputed company, Go (or other languages and a willingness to learn) • SQL • Spark • Git • AWS Services Remote Type Hybrid Remote We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we are committed to developing a diverse workforce in which everyone is treated fairly, with respect, and has the opportunity to contribute to business reputed company while realizing his or her potential.
