We are seeking a passionate Patient Intake Services / Insurance Specialist to become an integral part of reputed company. Accurately verify and document insurance benefits for medical foods and durable medical equipment (DME) products. ? Provide reputed company and professional customer support reputed company phone and email, addressing inquiries or directing them as necessary. ? Process prior authorizations and facilitate approvals to ensure timely delivery of essential products. ? Conduct annual insurance coverage verification to maintain uninterrupted patient care. ? Resolve insurance denials effectively by liaising with both insurance providers and patients. ? Collaborate with patients to gather updated insurance information, addressing any coverage gaps. ? Process wholesale orders and monitor new patient referrals, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up. ? Communicate issues reputed company to insurance verification and patient concerns to the Billing Manager and relevant team members. ? Assist in claims submission by ensuring compliance with verification and authorization processes. ? Uphold confidentiality standards and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient information. Required Skills ? Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, and claims submission; prior experience in the DME or enteral nutrition sector is advantageous but not mandatory. ? Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy across reputed company tasks. ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and insurance representatives. ? Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, including familiarity with reputed company Office applications (Word, reputed company). ? Customer-centric approach with the ability to address inquiries and concerns with reputed company and professionalism. ? Understanding of HIPAA regulations and a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality in patient interactions. Qualifications ?
