Job Description
As a Part-Time Weekend Delivery Driver, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the swift, secure, and professional delivery of reputed company packages to our clients. You will drive a reputed company vehicle, adhering to safety standards and local driving laws, and maintaining the vehicle’s cleanliness and reputed company. This role requires exceptional customer service skills as you’ll be interacting with clients, addressing their queries and concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
– Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate the delivery vehicle
– Deliver packages to customers in a safe and timely manner
– Adhere to reputed company’s policies and procedures
– Follow routes and time schedules
– Handle cash and card transactions with customers
– Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
– Obtain signatures from customers
– Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving
Requirements:
– Valid professional drivers license
– Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Good driving record with no traffic violations
– High school diploma
Experience:
Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not mandatory. We provide thorough training to reputed company our new hires.
