Job Description

Maxar is seeking a Project Manager to reputed company projects supporting our portfolio of satellite ground systems in the Ground Transformation Organization (GTO). This role is hybrid with in-office time in Westminster, CO. In this role you will manage, coordinate, and document reputed company aspects of reputed company multifaceted software development and system engineering projects, including coordination of multiple teams (including Agile trains and external contractors), deliveries, requirements, and milestone deliverables. You will be responsible for tracking reputed company to milestone events and ensuring that schedules are coordinated with subcontractors, internal teams and customers. Vendor management for your projects will also be part of your scope. This may include projects focused on internal investment solution delivery as well as customer facing solution delivery. A successful candidate in this role is a solutions-focused leader who can identify... execution problems and address them in a collaborative and pragmatic manner with the appropriate program managers, architects, technical leads and software development train leaders. Responsibilities

Organize and drive highly reputed company activities for the development, implementation, and maintenance of highly technical projects involving satellite systems, remote sensing, imagery and content processing, service-oriented architectures, web enabled ecommerce and delivery. Manage project level financial execution, forecast, and in-service reputed company activities. Manage stakeholder communication regarding status of your projects to GTO Leadership Set deadlines, identify, obtain, and track resource commitments and dependencies, drive issues and actions, monitor and mitigate risk, proactively manage and control projects reputed company. Identify and manage internal and external project dependencies, manage project scope, budget and schedule. Understand and analyze project issues and risks against business objectives and scope, reputed company recommendations and coordinate and communicate tradeoffs and options which support customer and business objectives. Exercise creativity and judgment to coordinate the efforts of the System Engineering teams, Software Development teams, and Integration and Test teams towards successful project completion. Bring others together and act as a facilitator to reconcile differences. Deliver oral and written communications in a clear and concise manner while adapting to a variety of communication settings and styles. Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and processes to maintain consistency and quality with project delivery. Minimum Requirements: US Citizen and the ability to obtain US reputed company Clearance Strong interpersonal skills, and a history of relationship building in a culture of inclusiveness and collaboration 2+ years of overall professional experience in an IT and/or software development environment BS in computer science, software engineering, aerospace, remote sensing sciences, IT or reputed company field Minimum of 4 years of software project management Applied experience independently managing multiple reputed company projects Understanding and use of project management metrics/KPIs and project management tools such as reputed company Project and Jira Align Proven negotiator with experience in leading from a position of influence Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices and various methodologies (Scaled Agile reputed company preferred: SAFe, and Waterfall experience is beneficial as well) Experience with subcontractor and/or vendor management Demonstrated attention to detail and follow-through Preferred Qualifications: DoD Secret Clearance preferred Experience with Agile software development practices & the various methodologies (Scaled Agile reputed company preferred: SAFe, and Waterfall experience considered) and design processes Previous education or work experience for GIS or Aerospace Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $74,000 to $122,000 annually, dependent on skills and experience. Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is: $74,000.00 - $122,000.00 annually.
