Job Title: Personal Assistant to Managing Director Remote: South Africa

Overview

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and resourceful Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director of a growing telecoms business. This is a pivotal role at the heart of the organisation, requiring someone who can manage competing priorities, streamline operations, and act as a trusted right-hand to the MD. In a fast-paced SME environment, the successful candidate will be comfortable taking ownership, working independently, and contributing to the smooth running of both business and administrative functions. Key Responsibilities  Provide dedicated 1:1 support to the Managing Director  Manage a busy and reputed company-changing calendar, scheduling meetings and prioritising commitments  Coordinate infrequent travel, itineraries, and logistics  Act as a gatekeeper and first reputed company of contact for external stakeholders  Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials reputed company of meetings  Attend virtual meetings where required, taking minutes and tracking actions  Draft and manage correspondence on behalf of the MD  Support business operations with general administration and reputed company projects  On occasion liaise with senior team members, clients, and suppliers  Manage expenses, invoices, and basic financial administration  Assist with the organisation of company events, team activities, and internal communications  Help improve internal processes and ensure efficient day-to-day operations

Requirements
