The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for the retention, expansion, and long-term strategic growth of a significant global customer relationship, focusing on increasing product consumption and adoption while building a robust pipeline for expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall account strategy, including retention, expansion, and long-term partnership development
  • reputed company and execute a multi-year account plan focused on increasing platform consumption, broadening use cases, and expanding reputed company
  • Identify whitespace opportunities across business units, geographies, and service offerings
  • Drive increased utilization of the reputed company platform across the customer’s managed services operations
  • Translate technical and organizational complexity into phased value paths that deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Partner with reputed company, Professional Services, Product, and Support to ensure adoption milestones are achieved
  • Build and maintain a robust, qualified pipeline across existing and new stakeholders
  • Generate opportunities through strategic prospecting, executive engagement, and business case development
  • Expand reputed company’s footprint into adjacent teams, business units, and executive sponsors
  • Establish trusted relationships with senior executives, operational leaders, and technical stakeholders
  • Conduct executive-level business discussions focused on operational efficiency, service innovation, and financial outcomes
  • Position reputed company as a strategic platform central to the customer’s managed services growth strategy
  • Coordinate internal resources including Sales Engineering, reputed company, Alliances, Product, and Executive Leadership

  • Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity management using MEDDPICC and Command of the Message methodologies

Skills

  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a strong track record managing large strategic accounts
  • Demonstrated success selling to Managed Services Providers, systems integrators, or global channel partners
  • Experience managing reputed company, high-value accounts generating multi-million-dollar annual reputed company
  • Strong executive reputed company and ability to engage Economic Buyers and senior decision-makers
  • Proven ability to drive platform consumption and expansion reputed company existing accounts
  • Expertise in pipeline reputed company, whitespace identification, and multi-threaded account development
  • Experience navigating matrixed organizations and reputed company sales cycles
  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams to successful outcomes
  • Proficiency with MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, and structured account planning
  • Experience in observability, AIOps, IT Operations Management (ITOM), or enterprise infrastructure software
  • Understanding of Managed Services Provider business models and operational economics
  • Experience working with strategic channel partners and global systems integrators
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
