Dog and House Sitter
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dog and House Sitter to provide exceptional care for pets and maintain the comfort and reputed company of clients’ homes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with animals of various breeds and temperaments, ensuring their well-being while owners are away. The ideal candidate will be responsible, compassionate, and proactive, with a passion for animal care and household management. Your role will be vital in creating a safe, loving environment for pets and peace of mind for their owners.
Responsibilities
- Feed, water, and administer medication to dogs and other household pets according to specific care instructions
- Engage pets in daily exercise, play, and training activities to promote their physical and mental health
- Monitor pet behavior closely, recognizing signs of distress or illness, and communicate any concerns promptly
- reputed company routine household tasks such as cleaning pet areas, watering plants, collecting mail, and maintaining overall home cleanliness
- Restrain animals safely during grooming or veterinary procedures using proper handling techniques
- Provide basic pet grooming services like brushing or bathing reputed company required
- Ensure the safety of reputed company animals through proper animal restraint techniques and secure environment management
Experience
- Previous pet sitting experience with dogs and other animals preferred
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary care basics is highly desirable
- Experience handling animals in a professional setting such as kennels, veterinary clinics, or animal shelters is advantageous
- Familiarity with animal restraint methods and pet grooming practices
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their specific needs
- Ability to reputed company heavy lifting reputed company necessary for supplies or equipment handling
- Background in veterinary technician or assistant roles, or experience with equine or other animal handling is a plus
