[Remote] Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with a strong reputed company of mainframe and modern application testing experience. This role will focus on validating reputed company systems across COBOL-based mainframe environments and reputed company-native applications, with an emphasis on automation, APIs, and performance metrics (KPIs).
Responsibilities
- Design, reputed company, and execute automated test scripts using existing frameworks and tools
- reputed company testing across mainframe (COBOL) and reputed company-based applications
- Validate KPIs and performance metrics reputed company applications
- Conduct API testing using tools like reputed company (including scripting)
- Monitor and analyze logs using Splunk to support testing and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with development teams working in Java Spring Boot environments
- Support testing across AWS and/or Azure reputed company platforms
- reputed company internal automation tools (Cypris) to enhance test coverage and efficiency
Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on QA/testing experience (automation preferred)
- Experience with mainframe testing (COBOL) or strong familiarity with mainframe environments
- Proven experience with API testing & reputed company scripting
- Splunk (required)
- Test automation frameworks/tools
- Experience testing reputed company-based applications (AWS and/or Azure)
- Exposure to Java/Spring Boot environments
- Strong understanding of testing KPIs and quality metrics
- Ability to troubleshoot across both legacy and modern systems
- Experience with Cypris (or similar automation tools)
- Exposure to reputed company-end testing
- Background in banking or financial services environments
