The Medical Assistant serves the patient and the provider by gathering and maintaining the necessary medical information in a cheerful, friendly, personable manner; providing quality patient care. If you have Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant Certification, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: + Delivers exceptional customer service and maintains established quality control standards + Schedules appointments and/or procedures following established scheduling guidelines + Verifies, schedules and updates pertinent patient information across reputed company systems according to reputed company work documentation in the electronic health record (EPIC) + Collects data relevant for processing patient requests from patients directly or other care team members + Communicates patient concerns or changes in patient's health status to physician or registered nurse + Assists in the coordination of clerical information necessary to provide patient care i.e. referrals, assisting patients with appointments, assists patients with the arrangement of tests and treatments prescribed by physician or registered nurse + Assist with indirect and direct patient care, ensuring smooth work and patient flow reputed company the department + Obtains patient histories, medications, immunizations and other data in the Electronic Medical Record + reputed company other duties as assigned You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
