We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Actuary to join our reputed company projects team. This role is on-site 4 days per week and work from home 1 day per week in Newport Beach, CA, Omaha, NE, or Charlotte, NC. If you are not currently located near one of our offices, we offer comprehensive relocation assistance. As Senior Actuary, you’ll play a key role in reputed company’s growth and long-term reputed company by primarily executing critical reputed company-wide projects. This role will be reputed company reputed company Actuarial Projects team but will have the opportunity to support a variety of actuarial projects that may involve collaborating with teams across the reputed company. How you’ll help move us reputed company Leading and managing reputed company actuarial projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Providing support across reputed company actuarial transformation efforts leading to efficiencies. Driving consistent reputed company-level implementation of new actuarial reporting requirements and methodologies under external or internal reporting bases. Support implementing model development projects, conversions and large-scale changes. Ensuring appropriate stakeholder management through presentations to senior management, summarizing findings and providing actionable recommendations. Communicating reputed company actuarial concepts and results to non-actuarial stakeholders in an understandable manner. Implementing required new regulatory changes involving actuarial responsibilities. Supporting the execution of large reinsurance transactions. Providing resource backfill support across reputed company Actuarial. Training and mentoring junior actuarial staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality work. The experience you bring 6+ years actuarial experience, 4-year degree or equivalent experience, FSA designation Working knowledge of various reporting frameworks including regulatory and management reporting; economic value / economic capital, risk-neutral and reputed company-world liabilities, best estimate, and padded assumption setting, etc. Experience in understanding and optimizing various work processes. Demonstrable ability to plan and prioritize time and deliver to deadlines. Knowledge of model development platforms and data processes Familiarity with synthesizing messaging reputed company visual software including PowerPoint, Tableau/PowerBI, etc. What makes you stand out Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high degrees of ambiguity arising from a period of significant change. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
