[Remote] Demand Writer (Personal Injury) - Remote

Based in Los Angeles, BD&J is California’s leading personal injury law firm, with over $2 billion recovered for our clients, and we are currently seeking a skilled and articulate Demand Writer to join our team. The Demand Writer will be responsible for crafting persuasive and well-supported demand letters based on case facts, medical records, and client narratives in a full-time, remote position.

Responsibilities

• Calculating the total damage sustained by the client in medical expenses, property damage, lost wages, and more
• Draft compelling letters that outline case facts, liability, injuries, treatment, and damages to obtain maximum settlement amount from insurance companies
• Analyze medical records and bills to accurately summarize treatment and calculate damages

• Edit and revise drafts based on feedback from attorneys or supervisors

Skills

• Qualified candidate will have 2+ years related experience in a Personal Injury law firm
• Must be familiar with reading medical reports and medical bills
• Must be organized and efficient with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Must have excellent math skills and writing skills
• Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook
