At arenaflex, the voice of the customer is the most valuable source of insight. The Chief in the Business Assessment gathering (a.k.a. Business Assessment Lead) is responsible for turning complex business challenges into actionable intelligence that drives measurable improvements in the Customer Experience (CX) score. By leveraging sophisticated analytical tools and collaborating across product, operations, and engineering teams, you will help identify pain points, prioritize initiatives, and ultimately elevate the overall satisfaction of millions of shoppers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross‑functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, operations leads, and analytics teams to define the roadmap for data‑driven CX improvements and deliver short‑term insights that influence the Customer Fulfillment pipeline.
  • Deep Dive CX Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of the Customer Experience score using state‑of‑the‑art statistical methods to uncover root causes of performance gaps and surface high‑impact opportunities.
  • Insight Storytelling: Translate analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders, employing visual tools such as arenaflex, arenaflex, and custom dashboards to make data accessible and actionable.
  • Data Engineering & Modeling: Apply quantitative skills to manipulate large, complex datasets; formulate precise questions; and develop predictive models that inform business decisions, using Python, SQL, and arenaflex.
  • Stakeholder Enablement: Educate and mentor colleagues on key metrics, data interpretation, and the strategic implications of analytical results, ensuring alignment and buy‑in for project initiatives.
  • Executive Reporting: Work directly with Data Science and Product teams to craft executive‑level KPI visualizations, track progress against targets, and iterate on strategies in an agile environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Economics, or Finance.
  • Analytical Tool Proficiency: Hands‑on experience with data visualization platforms (arenaflex, arenaflex), spreadsheet manipulation (Excel or Google Sheets), and large‑scale data analysis using Python, SQL, and arenaflex.
  • Statistical Modeling Expertise: Demonstrated ability to build time‑series forecasts, regression models, and other advanced statistical techniques to predict the impact of variables on CX scores.
  • Problem‑Solving Drive: Passion for tackling ambiguous, high‑impact business problems from definition through execution, with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Communication Excellence: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft data‑driven stories that influence senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Experience guiding junior analysts or team members, either through direct supervision or informal mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Ph.D. or MBA) with a focus on analytics or business strategy.
  • Experience in e‑commerce, retail, or consumer‑facing technology environments.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and experimental design.
  • Knowledge of cloud‑based data warehouses and big‑data platforms.
  • Certification in data science or analytics (e.g., Google Data Analytics, AWS Certified Data Analytics).
