By joining arenaflex, you become part of a forward‑thinking organization that values every employee’s contribution to the larger mission of connecting people and places worldwide.

Role Overview

arenaflex is seeking a meticulous and self‑motivated Part‑Time Remote Data Entry Specialist to support our data management teams. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a flexible, work‑from‑home environment and possess a keen eye for detail. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all information entered into arenaflex’s internal systems is accurate, complete, and compliant with industry standards. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of flight operations, customer service, regulatory reporting, and many other critical functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update a wide variety of data—including flight schedules, passenger manifests, crew assignments, and maintenance records—into arenaflex’s proprietary databases and cloud‑based platforms.
  • Perform rigorous verification checks to confirm data integrity, flag inconsistencies, and correct errors in real time.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information, adhering to both internal policies and external regulations such as GDPR and FAA data protection guidelines.
  • Collaborate virtually with cross‑functional teams—including operations, finance, compliance, and customer service—to ensure data consistency across all departments.
  • Follow documented standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data entry, validation, and archival, and suggest improvements where workflow bottlenecks are identified.
  • Generate routine reports that summarize data entry activities, error rates, and corrective actions for senior management review.
  • Participate in periodic audits and quality‑control initiatives to uphold the highest standards of data accuracy.
  • Provide timely support to internal stakeholders who encounter data‑related issues, acting as a trusted point of contact for resolution.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in office administration, data management, or related fields are a plus.
  • Minimum of 1‑2 years proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role that required high‑volume, high‑accuracy work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of delivering error‑free work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with a high level of accuracy (95%+).
  • Strong computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and familiarity with database interfaces or CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a remote setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear interaction with team members across different time zones.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a dedicated, distraction‑free workspace at home.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working within the airline or broader transportation industry, especially with airline reservation or operational data.
  • Exposure to data‑validation tools, such as Excel macros, Power Query, or specialized data‑cleaning software.
  • Familiarity with aviation regulatory requirements (e.g., IATA, FAA) and how they influence data handling practices.
  • Certification in data privacy or information security (e.g., CIPP, CISSP) that demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding confidential information.
  • Experience collaborating in virtual teams using platforms like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom.

Skills & Competencies Required for Success

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to spot patterns, detect anomalies, and make logical decisions when confronted with ambiguous data.
  • Organizational Excellence: Strong filing, labeling, and version‑control habits that keep digital records orderly and easily retrievable.
  • Problem‑Solving Initiative: Proactive approach to identifying root causes of data discrepancies and implementing corrective measures.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with shifting priorities, evolving SOPs, and new technology rollouts common in a dynamic airline environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to build rapport and trust with colleagues remotely, ensuring seamless information flow across departments.
  • Ethical Judgment: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

arenaflex invests heavily in employee development. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will have access to a suite of learning resources, including:

  • Online training modules covering advanced Excel techniques, data governance, and aviation industry fundamentals.
  • Mentorship programs that pair you with senior analysts or operations managers who can guide your career trajectory.
  • Opportunities to transition into related roles such as Data Analyst, Operations Coordinator, or Compliance Officer after demonstrating proficiency and a desire for greater responsibility.
  • Regular webinars hosted by industry experts on emerging trends like AI‑driven data validation, blockchain for airline logistics, and cybersecurity best practices.

By excelling in this role, you position yourself for long‑term growth within arenaflex, where internal mobility is encouraged and celebrated.
