What You’ll Do for Us: Key Responsibilities

As a Consultant on the Global Equity team at arenaflex, you will be a trusted partner in the day-to-day management of equity-based compensation programs, ensuring operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional participant experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Proactive Data Audits: Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly proactive data audits to verify operational compliance of equity-based long-term incentive plans and employee stock purchase plans, identifying discrepancies before they become issues.
  • Award Processing: Accurately processing the release of Performance Share Units (PSU), Restricted Stock Units (RSU), and matching share awards under stock purchase plans, ensuring timeliness and precision across all global participants.
  • Transaction Review: Reviewing equity transaction activity, including stock option exercises, RSU and PSU releases, and stock purchase plan activity, to confirm correct and timely purchase, release, settlement, and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Support: Researching, tracking, and responding to inquiries received from plan participants, process partners, vendors, and other internal or external stakeholders in a clear, timely, and professional manner.
  • Grant and Enrollment Support: Supporting the equity-based long-term incentive award grant process and stock purchase plan enrollment activities, including data preparation, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Ad-Hoc Analytics and Reporting: Producing ad-hoc data analytics, dashboards, and reports in support of ongoing operations, audits, leadership reviews, and strategic decision-making.
  • Process Documentation: Reviewing, maintaining, and continuously improving equity management processes, standard operating procedures, and internal documentation to support scalability and knowledge sharing.
  • Additional Equity Plan Tasks: Performing other equity plan management duties and special projects as requested, contributing to the overall maturity of the global equity function.

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent professional work experience.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in stock plan administration, payroll, tax, accounting, or a closely related discipline.
  • Equity Product Knowledge: Hands-on experience working with multiple stock plan products, including stock options, Performance Share Units, Restricted Stock Units, and stock purchase plans.
  • Systems Agility: Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly, with a track record of ramping up efficiently in dynamic environments.
  • HRIS Understanding: Working knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems (Workday experience preferred), including the methods and interrelationships of data transfers across platforms.
  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends or anomalies, and convert findings into precise, actionable recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to global equity programs and multi-country compliance considerations.
  • Familiarity with SOX controls, internal audit procedures, or regulatory reporting standards.
  • Experience working with equity administration vendors or brokers.
