FreedomCare is a healthcare company dedicated to revolutionizing the home care industry since 2016. They are building a talent pool of customer service professionals for various roles such as HomeCare Sales Specialist, Intake Specialist, Onboarding Specialist, and Care Support Specialist, aimed at supporting patients and caregivers in their home care journey.

Responsibilities

  • Connect and engage with people and start a relationship with those who are interested in having home care support for themselves or a loved one
  • Work closely with Patients and Caregivers to educate them and assist them on the application and enrollment process of our supported programs, with the goal of completing the eligibility process and onboarding them
  • Guide our patients and caregivers throughout the onboarding process of joining FreedomCare
  • Conduct virtual or in person orientations
  • Guide patients and caregivers through their home care journey while ensuring that our patients receive the care they need and feel heard and cared for

Skills

  • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations, empathize with customers, and solve problems
  • Ability to manage a high-volume inbound and outbound queue
  • Passion for providing a high level of customer service, including the ability to show empathy, active listening and patience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide empathy and compassion to our patients and caregivers
  • Good listening skills

  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to solve problems and stay calm under pressure
  • Ability to resolve issues over the telephone with eager customers comfortably, defusing and de-escalating frustrated callers successfully

  • Ability to leverage technology and resolve customer issues efficiently while notetaking/multitasking
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once and manage multiple priorities as you assist our Patient and Caregivers through the process
