Responsibilities
- Converse with the model on language scenarios
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness
- Capture reproducible error traces
- Suggest improvements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
Skills
- Expertise in French grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics
- Ability to challenge advanced language models on topics like verb conjugation, gender and number agreement, French idioms, phonetic nuances, sentence structure, and stylistic variation
- Ability to document failure modes of language models
- Ability to converse with the model on language scenarios
- Ability to verify factual accuracy and logical soundness
- Ability to capture reproducible error traces
- Ability to suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
- Master's or PhD in French language, linguistics, or a closely related field
- Peer-reviewed publications
- Teaching experience
- Hands-on linguistic analysis projects
- Clear, metacognitive communication
