The Insurance Sales/Service Representative is responsible for selling and/or servicing General Motors Insurance policies, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as, state and federal laws. This role is for people who want to solve problems and provide our customers with the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction that they deserve. Depending on qualifications, this position is for selling, servicing, or a hybrid of both. In this position, you may be the first contact for customers by providing them with quotes and converting them to long-term General Motors Insurance customers and/or you may be assisting them with their post-sales questions and policy changes via a variety of contact methods, which may include inbound and outbound phone calls, email, chat, and text. Key areas of focus also include proactively partnering with internal business partners, team leaders, and managers to resolve complex customer issues in a timely manner. While Insurance Representatives may have primary responsibilities, they are expected to perform any tasks assigned as business needs require.
