About the Role

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will serve as a trusted resource for our members, assisting them with inquiries related to their pharmacy benefit plans. Your primary responsibility will be handling inbound calls from members who have questions about prescription insurance, medication coverage, mail-order prescriptions, and other pharmacy-related services. Through your expertise and dedication, you will help members better understand their coverage options, resolve their concerns on the first call, and ensure a seamless healthcare experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls from members regarding their pharmacy benefit plans, prescription insurance, and medication coverage
  • Provide accurate and timely information about mail-order prescription services and delivery options
  • Resolve member inquiries and concerns on the first call, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times
  • Navigate multiple systems and databases to retrieve member information and process requests efficiently
  • Document all customer interactions thoroughly and accurately in our customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services and products that may benefit members
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to escalate and resolve complex issues
  • Stay current on pharmacy benefit plan changes, regulatory updates, and company policies
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and governmental compliance requirements
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of six months of experience interacting with customers in a professional setting, such as a call center, retail environment, customer service role, hospitality industry, or military service
  • A verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection that meets approved speed requirements
  • A dedicated, secure workspace free from distractions where you can focus on providing exceptional service
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely
  • Proficiency in using computers, navigating multiple applications, and typing efficiently
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all HIPAA and compliance regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience working in a call center environment or healthcare-related field
  • Six months or more of work-from-home experience, demonstrating your ability to thrive in a remote setting
  • Healthcare certification, such as a Medical Assistant certification, is a plus
  • Bilingual skills are highly valued
  • Previous experience in pharmacy, insurance, or benefits administration
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance metrics in a customer service role

Schedule and Work Environment

We are currently hiring for full-time positions with a minimum of 30 hours per week, though many schedules offer 40 hours. While your specific days off and hours may vary, you will have a set schedule that allows you to plan your personal commitments with confidence.

Our site hours of operation are 7 days a week, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM Eastern Standard Time for work-from-home employees. This range allows us to provide coverage to our members when they need it most, and we work with our team members to find schedules that align with both business needs and personal preferences.
