Key Responsibilities

  • Data‑Driven Problem Solving: Design and implement balanced approaches to solve complex business challenges using data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
  • Insight Generation: Build and maintain robust analytical frameworks that integrate internal and external data sources, delivering clear, concise, and compelling data‑driven stories to stakeholders.
  • Opportunity Identification: Develop insightful models to uncover growth opportunities, performance drivers, and the impact of external factors such as market trends and regulatory changes.
  • Data Preparation & Engineering: Extract, clean, transform, and orchestrate large‑scale datasets from diverse sources using PySpark, advanced SQL, and cloud‑based pipelines (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Google BigQuery).
  • Machine Learning & Advanced Analytics: Apply supervised and unsupervised learning techniques—including linear and logistic regression, decision trees, and k‑means clustering—to validate hypotheses and predict outcomes.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, engineering, and design teams to translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations and actionable roadmaps.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Looker, or similar tools to surface key metrics, KPI deep dives, and audience segmentation analyses.
  • Content Performance Tracking: Lead measurement and audience analysis for new releases, establishing benchmarks and performance indicators that guide future content strategy.
  • Process Automation: Design repeatable, scalable data pipelines that enable rapid, reliable analysis of ever‑growing data volumes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on data analytics experience in a fast‑paced, media‑focused environment.
  • At least 3 years of business intelligence experience, translating technical findings into strategic business language.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field).
  • Proven track record of building statistical models and conducting analyses that directly support business use cases.
  • Expertise in handling large, enterprise‑scale data sets and extracting meaningful patterns from heterogeneous sources.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or R, with a focus on data manipulation, statistical modeling, and automation.
