Our current opportunity is for a Proposal Coordinator / Desktop Publisher. This individual must bring expertise and demonstrated performance in proposal coordination and desktop publishing for high quality responses to RFPs, IDIQs, TOs, and Contract Vehicles. The Proposal Coordinator / Desktop Publisher may perform the duties of each role singularly or both simultaneously, depending on client requirements. We are looking for several people with a range of experience that may lean toward one side or the other on the spectrum of responsibilities of the Desktop Publisher and Proposal Coordinator roles. Here are the details. What you will get to do: The Proposal Coordinator / Desktop Publisher assists the Proposal Manager in managing the proposal development process from concept to completion including: design, development, writing, and production. § Coordinate milestone progression and task assignments of the proposal team (e.g. Proposal Managers, Writers, Graphic Artists, Technical SMEs, etc.) throughout the proposal process o Schedule and participate in all proposal meetings with Proposal Manager o Help develop the proposal schedule; update activity lists and shared calendars o Assist Proposal Manager in providing direction to the team by disseminating communications on his or her behalf and enforcing deadlines o Control and maintain collaborative workspace o Create structural outline and compliance matrix o Track graphics and monitor for version control o Support print production of proposal and final review prior to submission § Provide desktop publishing and production activities o Create templates for the proposal response, applying standards and styles that are compliant with RFP requirements o Prepare for color team reviews by compiling documents from the various team members, merging them with comments, and reconciling to one version for redistribution o Manage final DTP review to ready the proposal for production by creating the Table of Contents, developing lists of tables and figures, validating accuracy of cross references, and confirming that the most current graphics are incorporated into the proposal To do that, you should have: § A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) plus 5 years of proposal coordination and/or desktop publishing in the development of large, complex Federal government proposals § Expertise in industry-wide best practices in proposal coordination and desktop publishing § Expertise in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and in Adobe Acrobat. Must be expert in using styles and templates in Word § Proposal writing experience is a plus You should know, we like to work with people that are: § Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize § Dedicated to quality and commitment to deliver a compliant and compelling product § Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously § Analytical with solid administrative experience § Able to understand and verify compliance § Strong communicators, both written and verbal § Excellent collaborators – able to unite, influence, and motivate others as part of the team Apply To This Job
