Key Responsibilities

As a Claims Customer Care Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the front‑line liaison between our policyholders and the claims process. Your day‑to‑day duties will include:

  • Explaining the end‑to‑end claim process to customers with clarity and empathy.
  • Building rapport by actively listening to customer concerns, identifying needs, and setting realistic expectations.
  • Providing timely updates on claim status, answering inquiries, and guiding customers through next steps.
  • Receiving, screening, and routing inbound calls, emails, and chat messages while maintaining strict adherence to quality standards.
  • Processing claim payments accurately, scheduling auto and property inspections, and coordinating rental‑car assistance when required.
  • Documenting every interaction in the claims system, ensuring a complete and auditable record at each touchpoint.
  • Utilizing online resources, internal knowledge bases, and emerging technology tools to resolve complex claim scenarios.
  • Collaborating with third‑party adjusters, repair shops, and other claim‑related partners to gather necessary documentation.
  • Adhering to compliance, privacy, and security protocols to protect customer information.
  • Participating in ongoing training, coaching sessions, and performance reviews to continuously improve service delivery.

Work Schedule & Flexibility

arenaflex operates a 24 × 7 claims support model, which means you will have the opportunity to work a shift that best fits your personal commitments. Typical shift options include:

  • Early‑morning start as early as 6:00 am CST.
  • Mid‑day start up to 3:30 pm CST.
  • One weekend day per week (Saturday or Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
  • Second‑shift employees may earn a 10 % shift differential on top of the base hourly rate.

During the initial nine‑week training period, attendance is mandatory and planned absences are not permitted. After training, you will be assigned a permanent shift that aligns with business needs and your preferences.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Development) required.
  • At least 1 year of customer‑service experience preferred; experience in insurance or claims handling is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to master new claim‑management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced call‑center environment.
  • Clear, articulate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet (minimum 50 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload) and a distraction‑free home workspace.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
