The Part‑Time Remote Data Entry Specialist plays a critical role in supporting arenaflex’s marketing and analytics teams. By accurately capturing, cleaning, and organizing data, you enable our strategists to make informed decisions that drive sales, improve profit margins, and enhance the customer experience across all of arenaflex’s retail and health‑care channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, validate, and maintain high‑volume data sets related to product SKUs, promotional plans, and pricing structures with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate directly with cross‑functional teams—including Merchandising, Planning, Finance, Store Operations, and Marketing—to ensure data consistency across all systems.
  • Analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth; translate findings into actionable insights for category managers.
  • Support the development and execution of everyday assortment initiatives, such as “works off‑rack” plans and limited‑time offers, by providing clean data feeds and performance metrics.
  • Maintain and update a competitive intelligence repository, tracking market shifts, competitor pricing, and emerging consumer preferences.
  • Participate in periodic data audits, ensuring compliance with internal data governance standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the creation of visual dashboards and reports using PowerPoint and Excel to communicate key performance indicators to senior leadership.
  • Travel up to 5‑10% of the time to regional distribution centers or store locations for on‑site data verification and process improvement workshops (travel is optional and reimbursed).

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with retail mathematics concepts (e.g., margin, markup, turnover) and a proven ability to apply them in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with data entry platforms such as Microsoft Access or similar relational database tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a track record of delivering error‑free data under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear collaboration with internal stakeholders.
