Join arenaflex: Where Precision Data Meets Purposeful Impact

At arenaflex, we believe that the smallest details often create the biggest impact. In today's fast-moving industrial and technological landscape, accurate data entry isn't just a clerical function — it's the backbone of operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and workplace safety. We're seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to support our expanding Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) operations across the United States.

This is more than a typing job. As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play an instrumental role in maintaining the integrity of EHS records, supporting audit-ready documentation, and ensuring that critical safety information flows seamlessly between teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a passion for accuracy, and a desire to contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement, this opportunity is designed for you.

With a competitive pay rate of $32 per hour, full-time stability, and the flexibility of remote work, this position offers the rare combination of meaningful work, professional growth, and work-life balance. Whether you're an experienced EHS data professional or a meticulous data entry expert looking to break into a purpose-driven industry, arenaflex welcomes your application.

About arenaflex and the EHS Mission

arenaflex is a forward-thinking organization committed to protecting the environment, the health of our workforce, and the safety of every community in which we operate. Our EHS division is expanding rapidly to support a growing portfolio of data center operations, construction projects, and facility management initiatives across the United States. We partner with industry-leading vendors and operate facilities that demand world-class safety standards, robust documentation, and unwavering regulatory compliance.

The EHS team at arenaflex is the guardian of these standards. From air and water permits to contractor safety records, from incident reports to training documentation, our data is the lifeline that informs decisions, prevents accidents, and drives continuous improvement. As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll be the person who ensures that every record is accurate, every entry is timely, and every stakeholder has the information they need to make safe, informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist supporting arenaflex's EHS operations, your daily work will involve a blend of administrative precision, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive problem-solving. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • EHS Records Management: Accurately enter, update, and maintain EHS-related data across multiple platforms, including incident reports, safety audits, job hazard analyses, training records, permit documentation, and contractor compliance files.
  • Data Verification and Quality Control: Review source documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before entering data into internal systems. Flag discrepancies and follow up with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
  • Regulatory Documentation Support: Assist in compiling and organizing records required for federal, state, and local EHS compliance — including air, water, and waste permits, OSHA logs, and corporate reporting requirements.
  • Incident and Corrective Action Tracking: Log incident investigation reports, corrective action items, and closure documentation in a timely manner. Ensure all records are properly categorized, dated, and accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Contractor and Vendor Safety Documentation: Enter and maintain records related to contractor onboarding, safety training certifications, insurance documentation, and on-site compliance verifications.
  • Training Records Administration: Support the EHS training team by entering training completion data, scheduling reminders, and generating reports on training compliance and gaps.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work remotely with site leaders, EHS managers, vendors, and corporate stakeholders to gather information, clarify documentation, and ensure data integrity across the organization.
  • Reporting and Analytics Support: Generate standard and ad-hoc reports on EHS metrics — such as incident trends, training compliance rates, and audit findings — to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Confidentiality and Data Security: Handle sensitive EHS information with the utmost discretion, ensuring compliance with data privacy standards and internal information security protocols.
  • Process Improvement Participation: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry workflows, reduce errors, and improve the overall efficiency of EHS recordkeeping through better tools, templates, and practices.

Essential Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates should bring a strong foundation of professional experience, technical aptitude, and a commitment to excellence. The following qualifications are required:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of broad-based EHS experience, with specific exposure to construction safety, contractor management, data center operations, or facility maintenance environments.
  • Working knowledge of facilities management, engineering, construction, environmental compliance, physical safety protocols (including work-at-height, energy isolation, medium voltage, confined space entry, and personal protective equipment), fire/life safety systems, and industrial hygiene practices.
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, data analytics, and problem-solving skills — with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities, with the skill to influence and partner effectively with stakeholders at all levels — even without direct authority.
  • Proficiency with data management software, online collaboration tools (such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar platforms), and virtual meeting applications (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
  • Self-motivation and independence: The ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced, and fully remote environment while maintaining productivity and engagement.
  • Responsiveness and clarity: The ability to provide clear, accurate, and timely input to a variety of stakeholders — from field technicians to senior leadership.
  • Team-first mindset: A collaborative, supportive attitude with a willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
  • Solid understanding of applicable consensus standards and federal, state, and local EHS regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

While not strictly required, the following credentials and experiences will set you apart as an exceptional candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related EHS discipline.
  • Relevant technical certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
  • Experience supporting EHS programs in data center environments, construction sites, or large-scale facility operations.
  • Availability to support after-hours emergency response on an as-needed basis.

Skills and Competencies for Success

Beyond the formal qualifications listed above, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a blend of technical, analytical, and interpersonal strengths. At arenaflex, we value individuals who bring:

  • Meticulous Attention to Detail: You notice the small errors that others miss and understand that in EHS data, accuracy can be the difference between prevention and incident.
  • Digital Fluency: You're comfortable learning new platforms, navigating databases, and adapting to evolving technology tools.
  • Time Management: You can juggle multiple data streams, prioritize urgent requests, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Critical Thinking: You don't just enter data — you understand what it means, why it matters, and how to flag inconsistencies.
  • Adaptability: You're energized by change, comfortable with ambiguity, and quick to adjust to new processes or priorities.
  • Customer Service Orientation: You understand that internal stakeholders are your customers, and you approach every interaction with professionalism and helpfulness.

Career Growth and Learning Opportunities

At arenaflex, we don't just hire employees — we invest in careers. When you join our team as a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll have access to:

  • Structured onboarding and mentorship from experienced EHS professionals and data management leaders.
  • Continuous learning opportunities — including access to EHS certification programs, technical training, and professional development workshops.
  • Clear career pathways into roles such as EHS Coordinator, Compliance Analyst, Data Management Specialist, or Operations Lead — based on your interests and performance.
  • Cross-functional exposure to construction safety, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, and corporate EHS program development.
  • A culture of internal promotion — we believe in recognizing and rewarding the people who help us grow.
