Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications that support revenue management and data analytics initiatives.
  • Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for developers and analysts.
  • Participate in the creation of dashboards, performance metrics, and reporting tools that provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Support IT operations by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in both Atlanta, GA and Minneapolis‑St. Paul, MN office environments.
  • Contribute to Agile/DevOps processes, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, code reviews, and continuous integration pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, web services, and data pipelines using technologies such as Java, Python, REST, JSON, and XML.
  • Engage in data‑driven problem solving—clean, transform, and analyze large data sets to uncover trends and support decision‑making.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
  • Document technical solutions, create user guides, and provide training to end‑users as needed.
  • Explore emerging technologies—cloud platforms, mobile applications, AI/ML, and big‑data tools—to propose innovative enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Need to Succeed)

  • Availability to commit to the full 13‑week summer internship (May 13 – August 9, 2024).
  • Willingness to work from either the Atlanta or Minneapolis‑St. Paul office (hybrid schedule with remote flexibility).
  • Current GPA of 2.5 or higher and at least two years completed toward a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and adapt to different perspectives.
