Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking a highly motivated Remote Safety Analyst to join its Safety and Security team. In this role, you will serve as a critical liaison between the Safety Office, operational staff, and senior leadership, handling the ingestion, analysis, and reporting of safety‑related data. You will work remotely from Dallas, USA, while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure that arenaflex’s Safety Management System remains compliant with regulatory requirements and aligned with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection & Entry: Audit, process, and enter safety reports received through the SMS reporting platform, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Data Analysis & Trend Identification: Examine complex data sets to uncover patterns, trends, and emerging risks related to incidents, events, and near‑misses.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare clear, concise safety performance reports for senior executives, line staff, and regulatory bodies, translating technical findings into actionable insights.
  • SMS Implementation Support: Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System, including risk assessment tools and mitigation strategies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all safety data handling complies with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal policies and industry standards.
  • Collaboration with Safety Teams: Provide analytical expertise to the Safety Team on investigations, audits, and special projects, acting as a data‑driven partner in problem‑solving.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Safety, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, reporting, or safety analysis within an aviation or transportation environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large data sets and identify meaningful trends.
