Role Overview

The Remote IT Business Analyst – Data Entry & Infrastructure Management is a full‑time, remote position based in Georgia, USA. Reporting to the IT Offices Group Lead, you will provide expert IT administration, project management, and operational support for the core infrastructure that underpins arenaflex’s airport communication spaces. This role blends technical expertise with business analysis, ensuring that our data centers, labs, and remote communication rooms operate flawlessly, securely, and cost‑effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure for airport communication rooms, server farms, and remote data centers, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to develop and execute infrastructure upgrade projects, including power, cooling, and fiber‑optic network enhancements.
• Manage the full lifecycle of hardware assets—procurement, installation, documentation, and retirement—while negotiating optimal pricing and service agreements.
• Provide proactive and break‑fix support for servers, networking equipment, UPS systems, HVAC, fire suppression, and security controls across all data center environments.
• Develop and enforce departmental policies, standards, and procedures that align with corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
• Maintain accurate configuration management databases (CMDB), audit logs, and change control records to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Collaborate with software development and testing teams to provision lab environments, workstations, and access controls for application testing and validation.
• Lead capacity planning initiatives for space, power, and cooling, delivering detailed reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Support the fiber ring infrastructure that connects the Atlanta airport hub with ground office locations, ensuring reliability and redundancy.
• Act as a liaison between the IT Offices Group and remote site teams, facilitating seamless communication, issue escalation, and resolution.
• Document all processes, project plans, and technical specifications, providing clear guidance for future teams and audits.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in a high‑availability data center or server farm environment, with a focus on infrastructure operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking (LAN/WAN), UPS systems, HVAC, fire suppression, and security protocols.
• Proficiency in data entry, documentation, and maintaining accurate records in CMDB or similar tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain relationships with senior leadership, vendors, and cross‑functional teams.
• Commitment to safety, security, and data privacy standards, with a track record of adhering to change control processes.

• Four‑year college degree combined with 5+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure or data center management.
