Sales Development Representative
Box is the leader in Intelligent Content Management, enabling organizations to manage the entire content lifecycle and transform business workflows with enterprise AI. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to work closely with Account Executives and the Marketing department to manage leads and attract clients effectively.
Responsibilities
- Act as the initial point of contact for new customers via our sales channels and respond promptly to their inquiries
- Engage with potential clients through various communication channels such as calls, emails, and marketing efforts aimed at creating business opportunities
- Successfully negotiate and close contracts for deals valued at less than $5,000 in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)
- Foster connections with a wide range of clientele and encourage discussions about Box solutions
- Demonstrate attentive listening skills when understanding customer requirements and articulating how Box can meet those needs effectively
- Meet established quota targets for territorial revenue growth consistently
- Adhere to Box’s standards when using the Salesforce system while also providing lead metrics
- Occasionally close deals yourself with smaller organizations
Skills
- Strong interest in transitioning to a role in outbound sales
- Team-centric mindset - demonstrated ability working well in a collaborative environment
- Experience in engaging with customers and adept at resolving challenges effectively
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong relationship-building abilities
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to identify potential customer opportunities
- Previous experience in a lead generation role or sales
- Track record of success in a performance-driven role focused on meeting specific metrics
